Are you looking for an energy-efficient way to heat your house this winter? If so, look no further than a geothermal water furnace. They are the most comfortable and cost-effective way to heat and cool your home. Make the switch today.
How it works: The fluid (water and antifreeze) circulates through UNDERGROUND pipes. There it warms or cools to the ground temp of about 55 degrees. The fluid enters the electric geothermal heat pump inside the house. The refrigerant absorbs heat from the fluid and evaporates into a gas. A compressor concentrates the heat which raises its temperature to well over 100 degrees. The process is reversed for cooling.
How long will it last: The useful life of the underground energy collector can be more than 100 years and won't need to be replaced at the end of the 25-year life of the indoor heat pump. This means the upgrade costs for the next system will only be for the indoor equipment and, therefore, will be much cheaper.
